Introducing, the Brazilian Agate silk decorative pillows. *The story behind the design*
Agate, a variety of Quartz, is formed by water and gas from within cooling lava of volcanic cavities. The name Agate originates from a river in Sicily named "Archetes". Throughout history Agate has been revered for it's beauty and for it's mystical properties. It has been discovered in ancient artefacts if the Egyptians. Metaphysically, Agate is regarded for it's cleansing, balancing and calming properties. But also to encourage confidence and strength.
This pillow is handcrafted in the finest charmeuse silk, art infused onto silk with Organic ink and the cover is lined with Organic cotton. Natural New York wool filled insert included. Hand sewn in Connecticut.

Clouds conjure dreamy thoughts and feelings of serene comfort. This design samples original oil painting “Buffalo Trail: The Impending Storm” by American painter Albert Bierstadt, in 1869. The clouds design is elevated with a golden yellow piping along the pillow. A golden lining, like a silver lining, a metaphor that signifies optimism. Its origin has been traced back to 1634.
